It has been 40 years since I first encountered Calligraphy (Sho).
What type of art is Calligraphy?
It is the art of Sumi, brush and paper. But Calligraphy is more.
It is an expression of the calligrapher's soul, heart and humanity.
It reflects one's spiritual life; a life fusing traditional Buddhism with contemporary Western influences.
Because of its depth and breadth, Calligraphy invites discussion.
The theme I have explored "Internal Cosmos" is the expression of my inner world that I call internal cosmos.
I hope my art work speaks to you.
I appreciate your impressions and comments.
